Carrie Lofts is an intellectual property and commercial transactions attorney who helps clients protect, manage, and strategically leverage their IP assets. Her practice spans trademark prosecution and portfolio management, licensing, copyright, domain name issues, and enforcement, as well as advising on IP matters involving emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.
Carrie also counsels clients on a wide range of commercial agreements, including art-related deals and technology transactions. Known for her practical, solutions-oriented approach, she helps clients navigate business and IP challenges with clarity and efficiency. Clients appreciate her thoughtful, detail-driven guidance that protects their interests while keeping deals moving forward.
Carrie earned her J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She is licensed to practice in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, and has been selected to Super Lawyers: Rising Star (2024–2025) and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch (2025). She currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Oregon State Bar Intellectual Property Section.
